Cell-based wound care therapy, also known as cellular therapy or regenerative medicine, involves the use of living cells to promote wound healing and tissue regeneration. This innovative approach harnesses the regenerative potential of various cell types to enhance the body’s natural healing processes and improve outcomes for individuals with chronic or non-healing wounds.

Cell-based wound care therapy holds promise for treating a wide range of acute and chronic wounds, including diabetic ulcers, venous ulcers, pressure ulcers, and burns.

Dr. Angeles uses the most advanced wound healing protocols to date including stem cells, platelet rich protein (PRP), placental birth tissue, and xenografts to promote healing of the most difficult wounds.

The Angeles Wound Care Institute uses cell-based therapy technology in our treatment plans.
